Membership Of 560

The membership of the Risingholme Community Centre at the end of last year was 560, said the annual report of the centre, presented at the annual meeting. The director of’ the centre (Miss J. Edgar) said that membership of classes was higher now than it had ever been before at 'this time of the year The evening classes were almost fully booked The centre would have Saturday afternoon films for children later in the year. They would be shown fortnightly.

Officers elected were:— president. Mrs R. Taylor; vice-president, Mr J. King; honorary auditor, Miss C. J. McGregor; committee. Mesdames H E. Smith and F. Polhill, Miss M. Moorhouse. Dr. D. E Hansen, and Messrs J. Willens, S. Roy, A. Wilson, L. Taylor, T. Forrester, and H. Lloyd
