SEMINAR ON RESOURCES
Interest In Bay Of Plenty Meeting (N.Z. Press Association) TAURANGA April 16 Keen interest has been shown so far in the proposed seminar on regional resources and development of the Bay of Plenty, according t the seminar secretary, Mr C A. Bell, of Rotorua. The seminar, which will be presided over by the Mayor of Tauranga (Mr D. S. Mitchell), will be held at Tauranga on April 19, 20, and 21. Speakers will include the former Leader of the Opposition (Mr Nash) and Mr G. A. Walsh, M.P. for Tauranga. Ministry of Works and local authority officers will read papers.
Gift For Library.—Mrs H. G. Carver, wife of a former headmaster, has offered the Wanganui Collegiate School’a board of trustees £4OOO for the establishment of a memorial library at the achool.— (P.A.)
