SYDNEY, April 13.

A small New Zealand yacht with a crew of two young New Plymouth yachtsmen has arrived in Sydney after a 17-day trip across the Tasman.

The yachtsmen, Mr Denis Lobb, aged 20, and Mr Keith Ericksen, aged 19. set out from New Plymouth in their 23ft cutter. Crewcut. on March 11.

They sailed to North Cape and then to Lord Howe Island. After a short stay they came on to Sydney. Mr Ericksen said tonight that the trip had been uneventful and the "weather kind ”

The young yachtsmen will work in Sydney for three months then sail to the Barrier Reef and New Caledonia and be home in New Plymouth for Christmas.
