PLANNING POWER
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 9. The planning committee on electric-power development met just seven months ago and would be meeting again this year, the Minister of Electricity (Mr Gooaman) said today. He was commenting on a warning given by Mr A. W. Gooder, chairman of the Auckland ElectricPower Board, that there might be power shortages and restrictions after 1970 if planning was delayed further. “The committee last August supplied a comprehensive report which was presented to the House,” said Mr Gbosman. "The committee will meet again before August to review the power position and bring it up to date."
