Their “Prince” Will Come

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 5. The Avondale Drama Society is determined that its production of “The Sleeping Prince" will be staged tomorrow week in spite of five serious setbacks. The first was when the producer gave up on medical advice. Then the society had to leave the school being used for rehearsal and find other accommodation. The leading actor dropped out because of Illness and the new rehearsal hall burned down, destroying all the props. The fifth blow came yesterday when the third lead, Mr Len Denem, was badly hurt In a collision between two lorries. He suffered a broken leg, bruises, cuts and concussion.
