“CHEMISTRY IN ACTION”

Lecturers For 6th Form Pupils A series of lectures entitled “Chemistry in Action—l 963” has been arranged for sixth form pupils for April 5 and 19, and May 3. They will be held at night at the University of Canterbury. The first lecture will be given by Dr. W. E. Harvey, senior lecturer in chemistry at Victoria University, on chemistry and biology. Mr D. A. Watkins, man-aging-director of Ivon Watkins, Ltd., of New Plymouth, will speak on a chemical process for New Zealand at the second lecture. The third lecture, on the nature of soil, will be given by Mr N. H. Taylor, who has recently retired from the position of director of the Soil Bureau, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research.
