SOPHIA LOREN’S DOUBLE

Milkmaid Chosen (N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON. March 19. A self-termed milkmaid, who milks her own herd of 40 cows each day, has won a Hamilton contest to find a double for the screen star, Sophia Loren. She is 21-year-old Sandra Herriman, of Te Rore, who came to New Zealand from England about 12 years ago. She is about sft Bin tall, and has often been told that she resembles Sophia Loren.

Her hobbies include horseriding. When the film “El Cid,” in which Sophia Loren stars, opens in Hamilton, Miss Herriman, will arrive at the theatre on a horse, just as the star appears in the film. Asked why she milked cows when she had the qualities of a model. Miss Herriman said: “I just like the life."
