Lyndon-Waiau Many housekeepers were supplied by the LyndonWaiau branch of the Women's Division of Federated Farmers last year, the retiring president (Mrs H. Belton) reported at the annual meeting. The branch, which now had 63 members, had enjoyed an Interesting and varied year, •he said • Officers elected were: ’ President, Mrs W Newell; senior vice-president. Glenn; treasurer, Mrs C Cole. : Coldstream J The following officers were elected at the annuel meeting of the Coldstream branch of the W.D.FF.: 1 resident. Mrs E. S. Barnes; vice-presidents, Mesdames C. Davidson and Cartwright; secretary, Miss K. Harris; Jreaeurer, Mrs Robertson: advisory members, Mesdames E. S Barnes and C Davison. Auditor. Mr Kingston; delegate to executive, Mrs Lloyd; tompetition secretary Mrs T Bond; sales table. Mrs Fronting; committee, Mesdames Boerlage, Guilford, E E Barnes, Terris and Dunlop Methven Mrs W Weir was elected president at the annual meeting of the Methven branch of the WD.F F Other officers elected were: Vice-presidents. Mesdames W J. Rouse and W R Drummond; secretary, Mrs J McCloy: assistant ; secretary. Mrs A Lessk; treasurer. Mrs A. Wilson; advisory members. Mesdames Milne and Weir; delegates tr executive, Mesdames Weir, Rouse and McCloy; competitions convener, Mrs J R Lattimore; hostess convener, Mrs A McKay; reporter. Mrs Lattimore; committee. Mesdames R. Thomson, Lineham, C Chambers. J. R. Miles, A Rawlinson, E. A. Mangin, and J. Hendry. Waimairi-Papanui Mrs L. Cooper, vice-presi-dent of the Canterbury provincial executive, presided at the annual meeting of the Waimairi-Papanui Women’s Division of Federated Farmers.
Trophies presented by Mrs Cooper were as follows:—Mrs Royce Nicholls silver tray (for most points), Mrs D. Russell; Clegg Cup (runnerup). Mrs E. Glynan; cooking points, Mesdames E. Glynan. D. Russell, and G. L. Cooper; sewing points. Mesdames H W. Shields, M G. Fergusson.
and G. L. Cooper; flowers. Mesdames R. Nicholls, J. J. Pawsey, and D. Russell; cup for most entries without winning a prize, Mrs L. E. Prinsep.
