Strawberries For Sydney

(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. March 19. Tomorrow morning Sydney housewives will be buying ripe strawberries picked in Central Otago today.

The strawberries were carefully loaded in a bus at Ettrick, 90 miles from Dunedin, and left Momona airport at 4.30 p.m. today. At Christchurch, a Tasman Empire Airways. Ltd., plane waited to fly them across to Sydney—where they arrived at 9.5 p.m.. fresh and ready for tomorrow morning's market. “The Australians were delighted with the quality of a small trial consignment sent over last week." Mr D. G Payne, the T.E.A.L. reprer .ntative in Dunedin, said today.
