The Potato Growing Industry Act provides that no grower shaU sell any potatoes in respect of which a levy Is payable, and no person shall purchase any such potatoes unless the levy has been paid by the grower The levy of 30s per ton is payable on aU table potatoes whethet under contract to the Board or not. delivered between the Ist March and the 30th November except on single sack sales direct to consumers for their own use. Persons and firms which buy main crop table potatoes direct from growers in respect of which a levy is payable should apply to the Board, P.O.
