Church Leader’s Visit

The vice-president of the New Zealand Methodist Church, Mr F. M. Souster, of Auckland, is now in Christchurch on his first official visit. Mr Souster holds the highest lay position in the Methodist Church. He has worked for the Central Mission in Auckland for more than 30 years and is particularly interested in social service' work. While in Christchurch, Mr Souster has spoken to members of the youth group at the Methodist Mission coffee club at Friendship House, addressed the staff and residents of Wesley Lodge, and spoken to a rally in the Sydenham Youth Centre.
