ATHLETICS Revenge Race For N.Z. Girl

SYDNEY, March 12. The Empire Games SN yards champion. Miss D. Willis, of Australia, and her determined New Zealand challenger, Miss M. A. M. Chamberlain, of Christchurch, will meet again at Sydney on Saturday. Miss Willis, who defeated Miss Chamberlain in the Perth Games final, will be competing by invitation in the 880 yards in the women's athletics match between New

Zealand and New South Wales.

As she will be competing by invitation only, the result cannot affect the match, which will be decided at two carnivals, at Newcastle tomorrow night and at Sydney on Saturday. At Newcastle, the former Olympic champion, Miss Betty Cuthbert, will run for New South Wales in the 100 yards. Miss Cuthbert set a world record time of 53.1 sec for the 400 metres and 53.5eec for the

440 yards in Melbourne on Monday. Also in the sprint will be Miss Merilyn Black and a 14-year-old schoolgirl, Miss Sue Henry, who has the potential to be a world record-holder.

The other events to be decided at Newcastle are the high jump and the shot put.
