Janlea One Of Best “Ths Press” Special Sarvtca DUNEDIN, March 12. Steady rain seriously interfered with training at Wingatui this morning and there was little fast work. Janlea (B. J. Anderton) and Lucky Streak (R. J. Skelton), candidates for the Parkside Hack Handicap at Oamaru, were two of toe most impressive tafalists in running half a mite on toe plough in 52sec, toe opening furlong in 12 3-ssec. Their stablemates, Kumai (B. J. Anderton) and Ravelston (R. J. Skelton), ran their last six furlongs in Imin 25sec after taking 28sec for toe first two furlongs. These two membero of H. A. Anderton’s team are entered for the Oamaru Autumn Cup on March 25. On toe grass Silver Kingdom (G. Mee) was three lengths too good for his stabtemate, Tracey’s Pride (R. J. Skelton) at the end of six furlongs on toe inside grass in Im in 22sec, the first three furlongs in 39sec. Silver Kingdom is a form candidate for toe Windsor Hack Handicap. Chattel (rTj. Skelton) and Obscure (R. Wilder) were not out for time in Imin 27sec, toe first two furlongs in 27sec. A last start Winner at Cromwell, Chattel is to be tried over more ground in the Pfaittcafo Handicep.
