Town Clerks’ Officers
(NJZ. Press Association) ROTORUA, March 12.
Mr L A Best, town clerk of Invercargill, was elected president of the Institute of Town Clerks at the annual conference at Rotorua today. Mr M. S. Duckworth (Wellington) and Mr A. M. P. Hall (Palmerston North) were elected vice-presidents. Messrs L. J Wright (Rotorua), L. Butters (Tauranga). M M. T. Strange (Te Kuiti), W E McCullough (Nelson). J. V Trezise (Oamaru) were elected to the committee. Mr D. McLean (Devonport) was elected secretary.
