RACING English Sire Dominates Newmarket Sales

MELBOURNE, March 12. Progeny of England’s former champion stayer, Brioche, dominated the 164-k>t sales today on the first day of the yearling sales at Newmarket, Victoria. Brioche, winner of £15,000 in stake money (most of it in 1959 and 1980 as a three-year-old) came to Australia two years ago. His first Australian progeny are being offered at this sate-.
