Judge Dalglish has been appointed Deputy Transport Licensing Appeal Authority.
Mr H. J. Walker, member of Parliament for St. Albans, is the only nominee lo contest the seat for the National Party in the General Election this year. Nominations closed yesterday. Mr E. Nees, a member of the executive of the New Zealand Wholesale Hardware Guilds' Federation since the federation was formed in 1957 was presented with a china tea service after the annual conference yesterday. Mr Nees, who has retired from the executive, has been president and chairman of the executive.
