BAD HOUSEKEEPING—Accidents in factories can be kept minimum if the workshops are kept tidy. Good housekeeping is just as important in the factory as in the home, with the above photograph illustrating conditions which are very much conducive to accidents. The workroom should be kept clean and tidy, loose material should be swept up, spilt oil cleaned up and bins should be provided for waste.
