KILLED ON TOUR

Army Visitor To NX (NX. Press Association) ROTORUA, March 6. A visitor to New Zealand on a sight-seeing tour of the North Island, was killed in a collision near Rotorua last night He. was: Alan Patrick Francis Mata, a major of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliiers, aged 33, married with a family. Major Main, stationed at the Royal Australian Military Academy, Duntroon, arrived in New Zealand in the aircraft that brought the Chief of the Imperial General Staff, General Sir Richard Hull, from Australia last Sunday. Raymond Davies, of Wellington, was admitted to the Rotorua Public Hospital. Both cars were wrecked. Major Main's family live in Canberra.
