CHILDREN’S POETRY
The United State* Commission for the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organisation is sponsoring an anthology of poetry written by children in English-speaking countries. Teachers have been invited to submit work done by their pupils between September, 1981. and April, 1964, to the New Zealand National Commission ipr UNESCO, Education Department, Wellington. The editor of the anthology (Mr Richard Lewis) will visit the Dominion this year to gather material and also speak to teachers and future projects in children's literature.
