Badminton Gains

Canterbury badminton will be atrengtheued this season by the transfer of two otf Southland’s leading players, Mtes B. Gotmack and K. Hawkins. Miss Gormaek was Southland’s second woman last year and has been a member of the division one team for several season*. She should be a strong contender for representative honours in Canterbury. Hawkins played in toe Southland diviaion two team last year. He beet R. Hall in the Canterbury-South-land inter-provincial match.
