ASSAULT ON GIRL
Attacked In Waltham A six-year-old girl was indecently assaulted in the toilets behind an old brewery near Waltham Park about 3.30 p.m. yesterday. Police said last evening the child’s mother had complained about 3.45 p.m. that her daughter had been assaulted while returning from a store. She said the child had been accosted near the park, taken to the toilets, gagged, and assaulted. The Christchurch branch of the C. 1.8, was still investigating late last evening.
