Ski-ing No N.Z. Wins In Sicily
(NX.P.A.-Reuter—CopyrigM) MT. ETNA (Sicily), Mar. 4. Now Zealand and Australian skiers were well beaten in the giant slalom races on the final day of the annual meeting on the slopes of Etna Volcano. W. Favre, of Switzerland, won the men’s event and Miss Y. R. Siorpaes, a Swiosborn Italian, the women’s. Favre’s time was Imin 35sec. T. Huppert, of New Zealand, did not start In the women’s event Miss P. Prain, of New Zealand, finished twelfth, in Imin 37.55ec. Miss A. Latham (New Zealand) was fifteenth in Imin filAsec. Mias Siorpaes covered the 1400 metres course in Imin 26Doec.
