Learner-Drivers On
Dyers Pass Road Sir,—ln your report of a discussion by toe Heathcote County Council on tots matter, you correctly report me as having said that “drivers had to learn to drive on the lulls somewhere.” This may give your readers the impression that I favoured the continued heavy use of Dyers Pass road. I did add to the above remark that “instructors should spread their instruction evenly over toe hill roads available to them.” I would appreciate your making my additional remark known to your readers— Yours, etc., L. L. SMITH. February 25. 1963.
