Red Crees Congress. A record number of New Zealand representatives of the Dominion Red Cross Society will attend the centennial congress of the International Red Cross in Geneva at the end of August This was reported to the last Dominion executive meeting of the New Zealand society held in Wellington on Friday by the Dominion chairman (Mr E. Gibbard). The society was most fortunate that so many members were prepared to attend the conference at their own expense, he said.

Hydatids Control Course.— New Zealand’s first prospective woman hydatids control officer, 1 Mrs F. C. Goobbe, will begin her training ri the Wallaceville Animal Research Station today. On completion of the course she will be employed by the Auckland metropolitan hydatids organisation.—(PA.)
