QUEEN’S CUP PRESENTED.—Mrs M. Thomson, wife of the Australian champion golfer, P. Thomson, holds the Queen’s Cup after being presented with the trophy by Her Majesty after the New Zealandbred stayer, Aladdin’s Lamp, had won the £5000 Queen’s Cup at the Flemington Royal meeting on Saturday. The horse is trained in South Australia by C. S. Hayes for three of Australia’s professional golfers, Thomson, K. Nagle, and N. von Nida.
