Twirls’ High School Has Roll Of 710
The Christchurch Girls’ High School ’ opened the school year with a roll of 710 pupils, which included 88 boarders, the principal (Miss P. Robinson) reported to a meeting of the school's board of governors last evening. i The roll was about Ulf same as last year's,’ but the number of sixth-form pupils was larger than in'previous years. There were IN in the senior school. , Miss Robinson said that 153 ! girls had passed the School ' Certificate examination. 51 the ' University Entrance expmina- . tion. and four the National Scholarship examination. There were no staff vacancies.
