PHILIPPINES VISIT

Tunku To See Macapagal

(N Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) KUALA LUMPUR, Feb. 25. The Malayan Prime Minister (Tunku Abdul Rahman) will fly to Manila during the next 10 days for talks with President Macapagal on the Federation of Malaysia, the “Straits Times” said today. The English-language daily said the Tunku would also attend a meeting of the Association of South-east Asia, in which Malaya and the Philippines are partnered bv Thai-

“Diplomatic observers in Kuala Lumpur are of the opinion that a meeting between the Tunku and President Macapagal will go a long way towards smoothing relations between the two countries, which have become somewhat strained as a result of the Philippines' claim to North Borneo,” the paper said.
