SOYA BEANS SHOW PROMISE.—A trial plot of Harosoy soya beans on the Tai Tapu property of Mr D. F. Hubbard. Sown on October 25, with a spoon-feed drill in 28in rows with half a hundredweight of reverted superphosphate to the acre, the crop has had three waterings with sprinkler irrigation. It has been inter-row cultivated after hand weeding.
