LIFE BOY LEADERS
Training Course At Loburn
A basic training course for Life Boy leaders to be held at Leigh camp, Loburn, during the week-end will be attended by about 30 leaders. The course will be the second to be held fa the Canterbury area since the new scheme, based on the training scheme in Britain, was introduced here last year. Leaders are coming from Christchurch, Ashburton and Rangiora. The course will cover all aspects of Life Boy work, but will concentrate mainly on the practical side, with periods ot physical activities, games, music and handicrafts. In addition, lectures will be given on the Boy’s Brigade, the seal system, leadership,
programme-planning, storytelling and the team at worship.
The course will be conducted by the Canterbury area supervisor, Mr W. F. I. Bishop, and Messrs J. N. Rose, R. Evans, and R. Johns, all members of the area training committee. The adjutant will be Mr M H. Lumsden.
