ROYAL VISIT TO FRANCE
Queen Mother To Miss Paris (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, February 17. The “Sunday Telegraph” reported today that the Queen Mother would tour the Loire Valley of France in April, but would not visit Paris as originally planned. The newspaper's diplomatic staff said a stop in Paris, usually a "must” on a Royal itinerary, would mean a call on President and Madame de Gaulle at the Elysee Palace.
.. visit to Paris in March by Princess Margaret and Lord Snowdon was cancelled recently on the advice of the British Government.
