Protest Dismissed, Magician Wins

The Canterbury Jockey Club’s judicial committee dismissed a protest against the winner, Magician, after the Hampton Court Handicap at Rlccarton on Saturday. The protest, alleging interference to the runner-up Boundless about a furlong and a half from the finish, was lodged by Mr W. H. Willifimson, whose wife owns Boundless.
