PUBLIC NOTICES WAIPARA COUNTY COUNCIL HAWARDEN-WAIKARI WATER SUPPLY AND SEWERAGE LOAN, 1962. FOR 4293,500 NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Waipara County Council held at the Council Chambers, Waikarl, on Monday the 11th day of February, 1963, the following Resolution by way of a Special Order was passed and will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held at the Council Chambers. Waikari. on Monday, the 11th day of March 1963, at 10 a.m. RESOLUTION That m pursuance and In exercise of the powers invested in it by the Counties Act, 1956, the Local Authorities Loans Act, 1956, and all amendments thereto and all other acts and powers enabling it tn that behalf and by virue of and in accordance with the conditions of the sanction of the Local Authorities Loans Board granted at a meeting of the oard held on the 11th day of December, 1962, the Council resolves to proceed to raise in New Zealand a loan to ’be known as the Haw.ardenWaikari Water Supply and Sewerage Loan, 1962, for the sum of Ninety-three Thousand Five Hundred Pounds (£93,500) for the purpose of meeting the cost of constructing works to provide a piped water supply tn the Hawarden-Waikari Water Supply area and sewer, age and sullage disposal systems in the Hawarden and Waikari Urban Drainage areas and expenses Incidental thereto subject (inter alia) to the following determinations:— 1. The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be borowed shall be thirty years. 2 The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be sUch as shall not {iroduce to the lender or enders a rate or rates exceeding five and three-eighths per cent, per annum. 3 Interest payable on the said loan or any part thereof may be paid out of the said loan in respect of the first year of the said term. 4 The said Joan or any part thereof together with interest thereon shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half yearly instalments extending over the final twentynine years of the said term. 5. The payment of all such instalments shall be made in New Zealand. 6. The rate payable for brokerage fees in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof shall not exceed one half per cent, of any amount raised. 7. No money shall be borrowed after the expiration of three years from the date of the sanction of the Local Authorities Loans Board. The Council hereby appropriates and pledges as security tor the repayment of the said loan and charges thereon a special rate of 2.1 d in the Pound on the Capital value of all rateable property in the HawardenWaikari Water Supply and Sewerage Special Rating Area comprising the several properties. more particularly described in the Special Roll for such Area available for inspection at the Office of the Waipara County Council. AND Notice is further hereby given that a poll of the Ratepayers is required to be taken if five per cent, of the Ratepayers of such area so demand by writing under their hands delivered or sent by post to the Wainara County Council at Waikari and received at the Office of the Council not later than the 10th day of March. 1963, being the day before the date fixed for the confirmation of the Resolution to raise the said special loan.
