S.I. Marching Title

(N.Z. Press Association) TIMARU, Feb. 10. A precision display of marching was given by Blair Athol (Dunedin) in winning the South Island senior marching championships at the Caledonian ground. Timaru, today.

Blair Athol with 358 points, was placed first, with Philips Hi-Z (Canterbury), 394 second, and Downings Red Robins (Canterbury), 424, third. Blair Athol also won the trophies for the display contest and the highest aggregate points. Miss J. Falloon, leading Philips Hi-Z. was judged the champion leader, and Dunedin Highlanders won the cup for the best uniform.
