Golf Famous British Player Dead

(N.ZJ’A.-Reuter— Copyright) LONDON. Feb. 11. J. H. Taylor. Britain's "grand old man of golf," who woo the British open five times between UM and 1913. died at his home in Devonshire yesterday, aged 91. The son of a labourer, Taylor started his golfing career as a boy caddie and rose to become one of the greatest golfers of all time, winning his first open when he was 23. He scored a hole-in-one on W occasions.
