Conference This

Week The New Zealand Horticultural Trades Association’s annual conference wild begin in Christchurch on Thursday and continue until next Monday. The Canterbury district council of the association will be hosts to the conference and the chairman will be Mr I. Mcllroy, of Ashburton Delegates from all parts of the country will be present and they will represent all branches of the trade. The minimum number at all functions will be 85. The conference will be opened by the president of the Canterbury Horticultural Society (Mr J. Wailing). During the five days of the conference there will be separate meetings for growers and shopkeepers and also a paper and discussion on business methods. On Saturday and Sunday the party will visit nurseries at Ashburton •nd Rangiora. and visit Lincoln College. On Monday there will be an all-day conference and abo the annual meeting of the associataion.
