Irrepressible In Form “Ths Press” Special service DUNEDIN, February 7. Irrepressible enhanced her prospects for the Gore Cup with a most attractive gallop at Wtagatui this morning. Other Gore candidates to show up in their work were Irrepressible’s stablemates. Warfare and Cluny Bill. The course proper was in E- idid order after an overt shower. The trials were on the extreme outside of the track. Ridden by her race rider. J. R. Dowling, Irrepressible ran a solid seven furlongs in Imin 33sec. She galloped evenly throughout, running the first half-mile in 51 3-ssec. Cluny Bill (J. R. Dowling) bettered this time by 2-ssec. He worked with plenty of dash, running the first three furlongs in 39sec and the opening half-mile in 52sec. A winner under high-weight conditions at the Vincent meeting, he will again be ridden by R. A. Low in the Summer Highweight at Gore. Lord Fair, ridden by his trainer, H. J. Powell, ran the opening half-mile in 51 3-ssec and appeared to be travelling easily at the end of seven furlongs in Imin 36sec. He was assisted over the last half-mile by Rustle (T. Powell). at Wtagatui in December, Lord Fair is another form runner in the Summer High-weight. Warfare (R. Pledger) ran the first two furlongs in 24 2-ssec and completed a smart five furlongs ta Imin 5 2-ssec. She will be one of the fancied runners tn the Croydon Handicap, the second leg of the Gore double. Never Late (B. D. Collins) and Coat of Arms (R. Wilder) were together in Imin Bsec, the opening furlong in 13sec. Solus (R. A. Low) was not extended ta imin 8 2-ssec, after taking 28sec for the first two furlongs. He was assisted over the final half-mile by Highland Fair (E. J. Didham). Golden Glynnls (R. N. Marsh) and Chattel (J. R. Dowling) ran the first two furlongs in 24 4-ssec and completed five furlongs on the plough ta Imin Corduroy (A. L Powell) and Wild Delight (J. R. Dowling) covered the same ground in Imin 5 2-ssec after taking 26*ec for the first two furlongs. Crackle (T. Powell) was not out for time ta imin feec, the last three furlong* in 41 l-ssec
