Ships In Cuba Trade Banned

(NZP. A.-Reuter—Copyright) WASHINGTON, February 6. The White House announced today that foreign flag ships engaged in trade with Cuba would be barred from carrying cargoes financed by the United States Government for destinations anywhere in the world. The restriction was placed on all foreign flag vessel* which have called at Cuban ports since January L 1963, but the White House aaxl that it would not be placed on a ship which had called since January 1 if the owner gave satisfactory assurances that no ship under his control would henceforth be used in the Cuban trade.
