Vice-Regal Visit Expected

Lady Fergusson, who is warden of the Cawterbuiry Women's Club, has agreed to visit the club some time this year. The dub will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary in October, when a golden jubilee dinner will be held. On Tuesday evening the dub opened its programme

for 1963. About 120 members and friends were welcomed by the president (Mrs L. P. Bennett).

A programme of entertainment. arranged by Mrs ’J. E. Mason, was presented by the following:—Miss G. Ledsham (pianoforte solos). Miss Olive Gee (recitations), seven members of the Christchurch Watunes* Club (Scottish country dancing and singing) and Messrs R. Allison and J. E. Mason (vocal solos and duets).
