Rocket troubles have delayed the 22-orbitt space flighit of ths United States astronaut, Major L Gordon Cooper, jun., until mid or late April, United Press International reported today.

The 36-year-old United States Air Force officer had been scheduled to blast off from Cape Canaveral on April 2. No new date was revealed immediately
