PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations, 1949, notice is hereby given that the Lyttelton Borough Council, for the purpose of allowing the Canterbury Car Club to organise a Motor Hill Climb, proposes, subject to the approval of the Minister of Transport, to close the following streets to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder. During the proposed period of closure the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the streets: Urgent access required to or ' from by residents and access by Fire Brigade and Ambulance will be granted as soon as at . all possible Any person objecting to the proposals is called upon to lodge notice of his objection and grounds thereof in writing before February 4. 1963. at the office of the Council at Sumner road, Lyttelton.
