Summer Regent For Trentham First Leg

(From Our Own Iteportsr) WELLINGTON, January 23. Summer Regent, a highly-consistent four*year-old from Te Rapa, has been shaping like a staying star of the future and will be much in demand for the Wellington Racing Club Handicap, the first leg of the TjVB. double at Trentham on Saturday. He made a favourable first impression at the Wellington Cup meeting by running third to Gold Ruth and Moy in the Summer Handicap, one mile and a half, on Monday.
