NEW DANCERS FOR BALLET

Summer School Students Four new dancers have been sdmitted to the permanent company of New Zealand Ballet from auditions held at the Ballet Truat’s Summer School at the Opera House, ’ •Ihngton. They are Misses Rosemary Johnston (Rapetoetoe), Jill Morton (Masterton), Georgeoe Walker (Avondale) and Patricia White (New Plymouth). The new members will hove their first public performances at the Festival of the Fines, New Plymouth. After the festival the company win give demonstrations of ballet in the Taranaki area. This year’s school has attracted dancers from as far north as Auckland and as far south as Invercargill. Apart from Wellington, Christchurch has been the best represented city. The majority of students have come from Taranaki and Hawke's Bay.
