B. H. Kerr In Australia

A former Canterbury quarter-mile champion and record holder. B. H. Kerr, is one of a group of New Zealand science teachers chosen under the provisions of the Fisher trust to attend a conference of science teachers being held in Australia. Now a master at the Thames High School, Kerr was married in Christchurch on December 29, before leaving for Australia. Before transferring from Christchurch about two years ago, Kerr, as well as being an enthusiastic competitor for the University Club, took a keen interest in athletics administration and coaching. He was a member of the Canterbury Centre New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association and the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Coaches' Association.
