VISIT TO CHATHAMS
Two farm advisory officers of the Department of Agriculture, Christchurch, left this week for the Chatham Is'ands to assist the resident instructor in agriculture (Mr S. Henry). Mr John Scott, who specialises in farm drainage work, will be investigating farm drainage problems on the main island and Mr Eric Stony er, whose work is farm management problems, will be discussing this aspect of Chathams farming. There is the possibility of a farm improvement group being formed by the islanders.
