Baby’s Cries May Have Stopped Escape

(N^.PA.-Reute?^—Coppripht) BERLIN, January 11. A crying baby hidden in a car is thought to have led to the arrest by East German police on Wednesday night of its mother and two men. West Berlin police said today. It is believed the two men were trying to smuggle the woman and baby from East to West Berlin in their car.
