THREE JOCKEYS INJURED
Horse Killed In Barrier Trial (NJ!. Press Atm.—Copyright) SYDNEY. January 11. Three jockeys were injured and a racehonse was killed in a spectacular crash in a barrier trial at Warwick Farm today. A tending rider, D. Weir, was the worst injured and was taken to hospital with a broken left arm and a broken nose.
Two other jockeys, F. Leman and A. Clark were also injured. Leman was admitted to hospital with a suspected ruptured kidney and an injured back.
The racehorse Arrogant, trained by T. J. Smith for Mr George Rider, was killed instantly. Smith is In New Zealand for the yearling salsa
