Main Race At Omakau

"Ths Press" Special Service DUNEDIN, January 11. Baalbek, which was placed in his last two races on the southern circuit during the New Year racing, may make the grade in open company in the Moran Memorial Challenge Cup, the feature race at the Vincent Jockey Club’s meeting at Omakau tomorrow. The form runners, Sudd El Nil and Grand Prix, which shared second place behind Julloeh in the Kurow Cup, and Rortair, runner-up to Astra in the. Invercargill Gold Cup, will also come in tor solid support. The double will be on the Ophir Hack and the Clare Memorial Challenge Gold Cup. tn which Startler and Dalmaln will be a well-eupported combination.

The weather has been fine and the prospects are for a fast track.
