Gipsy Hanover will be a dominating favourite for the Frankton Handicap, the second leg of the double at the Waikato Trotting Club’s summer meeting at Claude* lands tomorrow night. Mr J. Waterson’s Smokey Hanover mare will be trying to win her fifth successive race. Bobbinett, a last start winner at Cambridge on January 5. and Rapine, the run-ner-up to Anarca Direct at the same meeting, will probably be Gipsy Hanover’s strongest rivals. Anarca Direct will be one at the strongest fancies foe the first leg of the doable, the Hamilton Handicap. Early Wynn and Professional Globe will be other soiidlybaeked runners in this race.
