Implore Sold Implore, a six-year-old gelding by Garrison Hanover from Bonny Potts, has been sold by Mr P. B. Carmichael. of Christchurch, to the Kumeu trainer, O. E. Nicholas. Implore, a half-brother to Three Star, Early Van (the dam of Smokescreen), Super Potts, and Medoro Star, has been unplaced in five starts this season from C. S. Donald's stables. He was lightly raced in the spring of 1961 and gained his most recent win at New Brighton in September of that year, beating Parados over two miles in tte Pacific Handicap.
