Visit To World Championships (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 9. Feeling "pretty confident** they would win some events, four members of an Australian gliding team were on the Oranje this morning on their way to the world gliding chanipiomhips in February in the Argentine. They ate Messrs W. H. Stentings, J. M. Iggulden, R. J. Martin and D. G? Reid. Four other members of the team, including Mr B. Rowe, the Australian champion, will fly to the events There will be 80 pilots from 23 countries competing over 400 miles of pampas. The Australians said it was the first time an Australian aircraft, powered or otherwise, was taking part in the championships. A Schneider-Arrow plane wee shipped to the Argentine by way of Durban last September. The team would also use two machines lent by the Argentine Gliding Federation.
